        Hey everyone!

I’m a fifty-something trans femme gal that needed a worldwide pandemic to help me figure things out – #COVIDLemonade. I’m just starting to learn how to navigate life as a soon-to-be part-time single parent to my tween/teen kids. I live in Paris (of Appalachia) and do some kind of technical stuff for a large, semi-public research university. In what little spare time I have, I like to pluck my brows, obsessively shop (but rarely purchase) domestically-produced stuff, and spend waaaaaaay too much time on Reddit.

“Hi there.  Nice to be with you.  Happy you could stick around,” as  Viv Stanshall said at the beginning of The Intro and the Outro.  I transitioned, oh, four years ago just as I was turning 51 and have somehow become an underpaid, trans, pansexual, polyamorous, autistic girl – all of which are brand new things in my life.  Thankfully, I am all of these things in Portland, OR where I managed to land when it was still affordable.  And though some of this stuff has been oh so difficult, I am happier with myself than I’ve ever been.  Which, of course, isn’t to say that I’m ** happy ** because, well…  you all know.  But definitely happier and I’ll take it.
